The Value Added Features metric measures the total additional Feature Revenue
against the number of voice activations and upgrades. Any feature that is paid to a
Mobile Expert will credit the store's VAF metric. The result is the net MRC of the
Features added divided by the number of Voice Acts + Upgrades.
Upgrades
If P360 is added to a line that did not have it previously, the MRC associated with it
contributes to the net MRC. If P360 is pre-existing and kept through the upgrade
process, neither the feature add or Upgrade are counted in the metric.
New Voice Activations
Depending on the Rate Plan, there may also be Feature MRC Credit given- some plans
have add-on data features available, and some have them bundled into the base rate
plan MRC. In the case of bundled plans, the bundled MRC will be applied as Feature
MRC.
- Example: A new Voice line is activated on the Go5G Next plan with a $100 MRC.
That MRC includes the premium data feature. The store receives $15 in Feature
MRC in lieu of the bundled plan.
New Voice activations are a great chance to maximize your earnings. If you were to
activate a new line on Go5G Next with P360 and Stateside International features, you'd
receive $48 in Revenue ($18 for P360, $15 for Rate Plan Feature, and $15 for Stateside
International) for a single activation.
Rate Plan Migrations
Plan Migrations are not eligible for commission, but Feature Add-Ons will be eligible for
compensation when a new Premium feature is added as part of the plan change.
- Example 1: Customer has a Go5G Plus plan and moves to the Go5GNext Plan.
Because both feature SOCs, BTMX50GB and GONEXT50 are Premium, the Feature
is not paid and no credit is given. - Example 2: Customer has a Magenta plan with a base MRC of $80. They change to
the Go5G Next plan with a base MRC of $100. Commission credit is not given for
the $20 MRC increase, but is given in the form of a $15 contribution to the VAF
metric and ME payout.
Back and Future-dated Transactions
ECS will record the effective date. If on 6/19 a rate plan is changed and backdated to
6/8, ECS will use the 6/8 date for the transaction.
